FCC Presents: Risk Management in Agriculture 2019
Risk is an inevitable part of farming. A recent FCC Vision panel survey investigated the risk concerns and management strategies of over 1,300 producers across Canada. Five major types of risks were studied: production, marketing, financial, legal and human resources.
During this webinar presentation, Craig Klemmer, FCC’s Principal agricultural economist, will review the results of this survey and what they mean for different areas of the agricultural sector. Come and join us as we examine which risks are most concerning to Canadian producers, how these risks are being addressed and what the main takeaways are regarding producer risk management strategies.
