The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit consultant services to develop and publish a report and associated support strategy identifying gaps in the local food product supply chain for Ontario agri-product processors. The anticipated areas of focus relate to: infrastructure needs, information systems and B2B relations and networking, and overall, increasing the available supply of local food product to Ontario processing operations.

The report and supporting strategy will highlight opportunities from the processor demand perspective, and will suggest strategies to increase connectivity between value chain players.  The information from this study will be relevant to stakeholders such as food business incubators, farmers and processors, organizations and companies who work in business support and development for processors and those involved in agri-food economic development.
